My mate had told me about the RJ45 crimping and how difficult it was but he never had a pass through tool. He wasted loads of the little plugs trying but i managed first time with this. Really easy to use

I used this to reterminate a few corroded outdoor cable ends and found it easier to use than the last one. With this one you can feed the untwisted pairs through the end of the RJ45 end and the tool trims them and crimps at the same time.

Always struggled making Cat 6 patch leads - this helps but still not always perfect but that's probably down to my methods!

The pass thru is so good to use and so easy, the crimper feels solid and works well. This one came with included connectors so so good. If you bought one of the cheaper crimpers and aren't happy with your results try this. I haven't tried any others like Klien and I'm not a professional, just a guy that likes DIY at home.

Pass through is so much easier to crimp correctly than with the standard non-pass through ones, especially when in a confined space or way off the ground! This is especially true if making ethernet connection is something you don't do every minute of the day!
