I use this item to patch a Starlink G3 cable to a 25' Cat 7 Shielded patch cable on the back of my RV in the engine compartment. A 25' patch runs from the inside of the RV to the Engine and the the Starlink cable runs the dish. This waterproof connector does not interfere or damage the Starlink cable silicone water seal. It was a super easy install.

Seems like it will work well, time will tell if it leaks. A nice addition would be to include a nut the same threading as the big cap so it can be mointed in a panel and the "inside" portion would be short.

Just wanted everyone to be aware of how big it is. The advertising photo is deceptively small looking. No issue with the product.

I needed to replace Cat6 cables and this product facilitated the work so that it could be done outside the house and be weather proof. Very easy to use!

These things work GREAT! VERY EASY to install and do a GREAT job on repairing a cut Ethernet Cable! If you have a Ethernet Cable to repair indoors or outdoors do yourself a favor and get these. They are totally weatherproof and do a great job outdoors. I have 200 feet of Ethernet Cable ran from my house to my garage, most of it underground, with about 4 feet through a bush above ground and a squirrel or rabbit chewed the cable. I cut the cable, installed new connectors on the ends and installed the VCELINK Waterproof RJ45 Coupler and the cable is as good as the day I installed it many years ago. This coupler is the best thing since sliced bread! lol

Easy to install, seems to work well, just a little big

I had installed some cameras around the house and the ethernet connections that came with the cameras lasted about a year before they stopped working. The connectors did not provide adequate protection which caused them corrode. These are much better made, provide a better seal and protection from the environment.

I had a cut in an outdoor Cat6 cable and used this for the repair. The hard part is putting the connectors on the cut ends. This device couldn't be easier to use. I like that the connector passes through the nut so I can put on the connectors first and then put them in this. The gaskets are robust and the compression fittings ensure a good seal.

These feel incredibly durable and should last a long time! The first thing that took me by surprise was the size! These are much bigger than I anticipated, but that's good because I'd rather them be bulky and functional than small and do nothing. They were straightforward to understand and use and I like their seal; they should last through some heavy storms. I can also attest to their durability! My dogs decided to pull up my lines after I had just buried them; while they did some damage to the other parts of my setup, it barely scuffed up these connectors!

These are significantly larger than most Cat5/6 couplers but they fit great. It fits over existing connectors including factory patch cables with molded boots. Seals appear good. Haven't tried them in nasty conditions yet but look like they should hold up well.

Product seems to work great but just be aware these things are huge. I was not expecting them to be the size of large ballpark hotdogs.

Had a DB CAT VI cable carrying PoE to a dish for a WISP. Cable was damaged and was losing signal. Did not want to pull the old cable and rebury it unless absolutely necessary. Cut the old cable, terminated the ends, and installed them in this. Signal quality was restored and so far the coupler has withstood elements.

Great for an extra layer of protection for your outdoor connectors. There are times where I need to use a coupler in a junction box however they are never on 100% moisture proof. These add an extra layer of protection inside the junction box.

Worked great when I chopped my cable. Crimp new end after installing this products sleeve for a better seal.
