Easy install

These worked great and were very easy to install.

Sturdy and easy to use

These keystone jacks have some weight to them and are very sturdy. The enclosure is rigid and it does not flex at all when handling or pressing the pieces together. I bought these to use with 23 awg shielded cat 6 cable. The outer jacket is much thicker than other Ethernet cables I’ve used, so I was concerned that the total outer diameter of the cable would be too large for the jack to accept. Initially, I was going to terminate the cables and plug them into inline keystone couplers, but I could not find modular plugs that would accept the larger outer jacket of the cable. Connecting the cables to this jack did not require a punch down tool, and that was great! After stripping the jacket off, I’d advise arranging the individual wires to match the configuration/order of how they will be arranged. This will help minimize the bulk and amount of overlap of the wires making it easier to connect the internal pieces. I wish I knew about these years ago!

theyre okay

I got these and they dont work that well with shielded cable ends, when the jack is pushed in you have to pull it back out a little or the tester will read all over the place. they work fine with the plastic ends but thats not the point of getting these.

Does not transfer giga Internet has discribe.

The product dose not transfer a giga Internet on cat 6 has it say. Max transfer 100, with other rj45 socket I did get a giga. Will not buy this again, and will not recommend to buy.

One of the best keystone jacks I have ever used.

After having used a number of different types of keystone jacks, I can say without a doubt these are some of the best. The jacks are 100% metal and have some weight to them...The only plastic is the interior IDC terminal. Attention to detail is evident by the spring loaded ground tab that presses down on the cable as it exits the housing...assuring a great ground assuming you bring the foil backwards far enough. These jacks are truly tool less and I had no issues at all with terminations...all terminations I performed are flawless.
