Punch Down Stand VCELINK

No problems to report with this product or the vendor. Will buy again if necessary.

Worked for me. I didn't want to spend a lot for a quality tool that I'll only use a couple times. This worked well.

Makes the completion of punch down simple an quick great third hand

Provided a good stable way to install wires into RJ45-keystone jacks on bumpy stucco-like drywall surface. The wire stripper was far superior to the similar-looking one that I got with the super cheap Westonetek-branded punchdown impact tool, but with this stand I could use that punchdown to push hard and move handle 360º degrees to get wires seated correctly and stand let me avoid damaging wall. So I'd recommend getting this stand.

I already have a professional punch down tool, so I didn't need the punch down tool. However, the wire stripper works really well and I like it. The punch down stand is the really valuable item. It holds the jack steady during punchdown and reduces chance of injury or breaking the tabs off the jack.

Just find the right slot for the connection you are making and place the jack there. This allow for much greater stability when you make the punchdown connections. I used this for several runs of cable and it make the connections quicker and I did not have any signal loss.

This is useful to have and easy to use. Helps to punch down the Ethernet wires in the jack. I recommend this for IT guys who want to easily hold the jack & punch down.

Great crimping tool. The yellow wire stripping tool is the reason I gave a four star rating. The blade came off of the tool it is a low cost tool but the blade should be fused in place otherwise I recommend this tool set.

Two problems: first, the blade in the punch tool sometimes comes out of the tool and gets stuck in the jack. Second: when using with VCE's own jacks, the pin assignments (which are printed on the sides of the jacks) aren't visible when in the base. If you just remember the pin assignments, then this doesn't matter. But if you need to be able to see the printed assignments to keep everything straight, then consider this!

Using this with rear entry cat6 ( Position B ), this position does not lock, so it it completely useless to me. The jack just pops out when punching down. The yellow tool works, but the blade falls out, and the stripper cuts too deep.

Wow a very good tool for the data technician. Was able to apply better pressure to the keystone jack. Land the cable pairs to each slot with ease. Did not wobble or damage the keystone jack from a wandering punch tool. This tool does fit, ideal, monoprice, leviton style keystone jacks. However with commscope jacks will not fit without modification. This tool is still very helpful! I like the price. Delivered fast and ready for work. Thank you.

I use this for class. Work better than most other types. I purchased 6 of these and may buy more.
