Use this to crimp the rj11 onto my cheap phone cord I bought on here for my Happijac
Good price, I like blue color
I had one that I bought years ago. I’d have it somewhere but I do not know so I bought this new one for the ends of my electrical cables that I have. Sometimes I need to replace because the plastic ends get brittle and break off.
I love the tool it comes with all 3 , 4 pin 6 pin and 8 pin only thing I am not happy is when closing it and want to lock it the pin they designed is very strange way and doesnt work most of the time
Their sturdy and they do just about everything thing the more expensive ones do
I had an older simpler crimper that I used to rewire my internet connections. I could not get internet on my computer. I even replaced the heads twice on both sides. I finally caved and bought these, replaced the heads and everything worked the way it was supposed to from the beginning. I highly recommend. They were easy to use and did the job right the first time.
Received promptly with no defects.
This seemed like a nice tool. I ended up returning though because it was not the right tool I needed. It had an extra guard that did not allow me to crip my plugs. The plugs I bought were a solid piece of metal at the bottom which they now have a diagram showing does not work with this. Ultimately, it seems like it could be a good tool, just pay attention to what plug it will work with!
I will recommend this to everyone
Decent for the price
I needed to repair a cable connector and this crimper made the job go extremely smoothly. It stripped wire precisely and then crimped connector for solid fit
I was having trouble with my DSL. The tech said the line inside my home was too noisy (it tested fine out side of my house - at the phone network box). I had no choice but to shorten the distance from my dsl modem to the network box. After doing so, I was still getting DSL drop outs with resyncs taking up to 4 minutes. I decided to convert the break out jack (4 screws) to an RJ11 male that I could plug directly into my modem. This eliminated one coupling and it did the trick, my errors went away. So yeah, I bought this tool in order to crimp 1 lousy RJ11 jack/ I bought the cheapest crimper I could find and it worked like a charm.
Many government agencies continue to require FAXes and finding two contact telephone cable for them is harder than finding cheap gas. This device does a great job at replacing the connections on fax cables and even wired Internet cable connectors. It’s nice to buy something that works exactly as advertised!
Having used various crimpers over the years to make cables I was surprised at the quality of these crimpers. Tight tolerances so there is no play when you go to make the crimp, holds the connectors tight while crimping and the ratchet mechanism works well. Normally to get crimps as good as this one makes you have to spend two to four times more than these cost. Honestly I purchased these for a VEX club I help run and didn't have the budget for more expensive crimpers, so I wasn't expecting much. I was impressed with how well these crimped the RJ22 (RJ9) ends. The only negative is it is difficult to use the cutter/stripper with all the guards around them. I ended up taking the jaws out of another set that didn't crimp at all but cut/stripped perfectly. Between the two I have a pretty good kit to have the kids make cables with, one kid cutting the cables and one kid crimping. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone needing an inexpensive pair of crimpers. My professional pair is still better, but doesn't do the RJ22 ends.
Easy to use great product for the money
Multi-tool is great. All you need to strip and put an end on a LAN cable! Highly recommend 👌🏽
